Filter Media for Multiple Solutions

Our
Products

  • Silica filter sand is a meticulously mined, washed, dried and sorted granular material composed of silica particles, chosen for its exceptional hardness and chemical inertness in water filtration systems. Its high surface area and uniform size distribution make it ideal for effectively trapping impurities and particulates, ensuring clean and clear water output.

  • Silica support gravel consists of coarse, monocrystalline silica, typically used as a support medium in various filtration and drainage applications. Its porous structure facilitates effective distribution of liquids and allows for proper flow rates, making it a versatile choice for supporting filter layers and promoting efficient fluid movement.

  • Silica torpedo sand is a specialized coarse-grained sand characterized by its high silica content and round particle shape, commonly used as a layer between filter sand and silica support gravel. During filter backwashing the torpedo sand remains in place preventing the filter sand from entering the space in the support gravel.

  • Ohio quartz sand, sourced from deposits in the state of Ohio, is a premium-grade material renowned for its high purity, uniformity, and exceptional durability. With its fine granular texture and predominantly quartz composition, Ohio quartz sand finds extensive use in various industrial applications such as water filtration, glass manufacturing, foundries, and hydraulic fracturing operations.

  • Anthracite is a hard, shiny, low density and high-carbon coal variant known for its remarkable purity and resistance to weathering, making it an ideal choice for water filtration systems where high-efficiency removal of impurities is crucial. With its dense and non-porous structure, anthracite effectively removes sediment, organic matter, and turbidity from water, ensuring a clean and potable water supply in various municipal and industrial settings.

  • Greensand is a natural mineral material characterized by its greenish-black color and grainy texture, primarily composed of glauconite, iron, and potassium. Widely used in water filtration systems, greensand efficiently removes iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide from water through a process called ion exchange, providing clean and clear water for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes.

  • Garnet is a hard, semi-precious gemstone known for its deep red color, although it can also be found in other hues such as orange, yellow, and green, depending on its mineral composition. Widely utilized as an abrasive material in sandblasting, water jet cutting, and abrasive blasting applications, garnet's natural hardness and high density make it a highly effective dual media water filter media.
